The Steris Company's Isomedix Division contacted Primus Builders to develop design documents to build and enclose their latest Peak Shaver technology. After pre-engineering, budget estimates and site planning, Steris chose Primus Builders to deliver the entire turn-key project using the guaranteed maximum price approach.
The scope of work included architectural, structural and mechanical design. Drawings were developed to include floor plans, detailed elevations, foundation specifications, and electrical/fire protection layouts. Stainless steel was also used extensively throughout the project. Inherit in this specialty type project, high level design work was integrated for the state-of-the-art system, including electrical and fire protection.
The high-tech, heavy process equipment required every discipline to combine design and construction management efforts in order to deliver this Primus Builders quality facility.
