Stanford Refrigerated Warehouses is a public refrigerated warehouse company based in Macon, Georgia. The company began in 1977, in Fort Valley, Georgia, later expanding to additional facilities in Macon and Byron, Georgia. In 2006, the company chose Primus to expand their freezer at the Macon facility. The 35,000 SF expansion included two new blast cells, an engine room and a forklift room expansion.
The building was steel-framed and insulated with metal panel exterior. Work included an ammonia refrigeration system and a fire pump system for fire protection. Primus provided complete architectural and design engineering services for the civil, architectural, structural, electrical, refrigeration, and fire protection design.
