Original Brand Foods was acquired by Vistar Corporation in January 2004. Vistar is one of America 's leading distributors of food products and related supplies to the Italian and Pizza market segments. Original Brand Foods has been in business since 1948 and was a leading distributor in food products to the Atlanta region. The work at the Atlanta facility involved a freezer and cooler expansion. This was a complete turnkey project, to an operating facility, in a city environment.
