Kelley Foods is a broad line foodservice distributor in Elba, Alabama. Due to increased sales, Kelley Foods needed to expand its distribution facility.
After an extensive planning effort, Kelley progressed with expanding and renovating its freezer, cooler and dry grocery by over 40,000 SF. Additionally, Kelley added a new truck maintenance garage which included a truck wash and fueling island. Primus Builders, specializing in refrigerated food facilities, was selected to provide turnkey design and construction services.
The expansion includes ammonia refrigeration, insulated panels (self performed), structural racking and hydraulic dock levelers.
