25,000 SF Perishable Distribution Facility Expansion
The Georgia Department of Agriculture issued a competitive design/build package for the design and construction of a 25,000 SF multi-temperature produce facility.
Primus Builders further developed the engineering to more accurately price the project. Primus Builders won the contract in a field of more than 12 builders.
Upon finalizing the design, Primus Builders presented more than $100,000 in value engineering options to the Department of Agriculture which allowed for end user enhancements and a more functional facility. Upgrades included breakaway doors, concrete curb protection, and improved thermal envelope around the mezzanine offices.
