Atlas Cold Storage, a North American Continent warehousing, transportation,
and logistics solutions provider, has experienced tremendous growth through
all facilities, but specifically in their port business. The building of this facility enabled them to provide complete international logistics services to import/export customers.
Primus Builders was selected through a conceptual RFP process to design and construct this 30,000 SF frozen seafood warehouse expansion. This facility was built on deep foundations with 85’ piles with structural concrete slabs. Work included ammonia refrigeration and in-rack fire protection. The building was designed for named storms’ wind speeds.
The expedited schedule of work allowed for a four-month construction duration and made storage available for the fall harvest season. The expansion also included 4,000 pallet positions.
