The Gold’s Gym SuperCenter located in Woodstock, GA is a 63,000 SF two story facility. The exterior consists of four sides brick with plenty of storefront glass windows on all sides for ample natural light on the inside. The front lawn was designed for an outdoor kid’s area and a large area for group fitness such as aerobics & Pilates. There is an outdoor basketball court in the rear of the building, as well as expansion room for the future outdoor pool.
The first floor interior consists of a grand foyer with an elevator and impressive water feature. Once inside, the open floor plan allows you to take in the main free weight floor, sales offices, juice bar, day care, hair solon, retail center, full size basketball court, and full size Olympic swimming pool with Jacuzzi. The men’s & women’s locker rooms boast saunas & steam rooms in each. With plenty of personal grooming space and lockers this facility can easily manage over 500 members at any given time.
The second floor consists of executive offices, chiropractor clinic, spin, Pilates, group fitness, cardio and circuit training, personal training and a 1/8th mile running track.
Primus Builders was selected for this project to work with the architect and client to ensure the building was designed with in their budget as well as utilizing Primus’s expertise in building other fitness and recreational centers. Gold’s Gym wanted a high quality, unique facility with specific functions and amenities for their members. Primus Builders worked diligently with the client, architects, engineers and the City of Woodstock during the early stages of construction to help make our clients vision a reality.
